Wriggling Snake
The pyramid model of sunflower development, psuedo- evolutionary tactic. The strongest survive, the weakest get sold, given away or geurilla-ed.
On my recovery run yesterday I was checking out likely positions, I want a sunny aspect, and ful view of the public, but with difficult access. I am thinking bridges, roundabouts, parks.......

I recall in the village we once lived a sunflower growing out the top of a very high wall. I've checked my Flickr account but sadly no photos

shame. This guerilla gardening, you sort of have to avoid council mowers, make it difficult for people to break stuff up yet still be visible.
I did notice my local park had snakes head fritillaries, which is quite something.

I'm just thinking of shoving a few seeds in the pots here and hoping they grow same as you Mrs Jigs. I've 1 out of 14 here, and I would really like a few to pop up in the kids pots.

Shame isn't it. At least the cosmos are coming through, no sign of the sweet peas though.

I might get the kids to put the seeds in their own pots and then I'll not feel like I'm being dishonest with them if one grows and wins.
