Only just spotted this - I'm going all out with various sunflowers this year. They all seem to germinate within 5 days or so. I'm going mini, dwarf, coloured and also black, and once again trying a few russian giants (which I failed miserably with last year..)

Welcome MH.
May I suggest you 'go Guerilla' with the dwarf ones as may not win the 'biggest' section.

It seems all mine have now germinated, when I say all I have about a 66% success rate, even those outside, I think the secret is putting them in a sunny position. Amazing, who would have thought of that.
Today I will sow more for the guerilla action.
