Just checked strava to see how much faster the race leaders climbed from Morzine to Les Gets compared to me. Suffice to say they're a bit faster than me :-)

Ha ha Larks I know what you mean I tried to keep up with a roubaix winner once on his "slow recovery" day. His HR was below 100 while mine was bouncing of the red line as I tried to hold his wheel at 27mph! On the flat!!!! As you might imagine I did not last long before waving cheerio as I could not speak. Brought a new meaning to breathing out of every orifice lol
Pro riders are a markedly different breed.

Love the Dauphine, its a terrific race with good riders and a beautiful part of the world to race.

Do any of you use NBC/ be-dazzle to watch cycling? I'm trying to watch the UCI para-cycling World Championship streaming, and failing miserably to get it to work - or even find anything once I've signed up & logged in.

No sorry um no experience of that.
I have used the UCI youtube channel, have you tried that, no idea if they have Para content though

Not exactly pro, but probably as close as they can get ... daughter & her pilot & her WC medal, yesterday.
