X-post, I believe Eurosport have comprehensive Olympics coverage these days as the BBC coverage is neutered as they license it from Discovery as I understand it. That was certainly they case last time.

I've never felt the need to head over to ES for Olympics in the past; BBC is always pretty comprehensive with the range of iPlayer / Red Button services that they can switch on. How is it "neutered"? |

It was neutered since the last Olympics, before that BBc had the rights directly. If you watched other more niche sports at the last summer Olympics you'd have noticed the streams weren't there as they used to be on BBC.

Maybe the time zone stuff meant I wasn't so bothered by it. Would be different for Paris I suppose with the timezone being far more convenient. Maybe that will tempt me for the £3.49 sub. Wonder whether it will be geoblocked? I'm in France for a good chunk of the Olympics, and whilst most of that time will be holidaying, there'll be evenings when tuning into the Olympics would be enjoyable and not sure if we'll have a TV in our apartment. |

Maybe get yourself a VPN? They're not too expensive. I watched iPlayer in Spain with one, pretending that I was in the UK. |

Can't see why Discovery+ would be geoblocked given they have the rights across Europe.
