Discovery have finally killed Eurosport subscriptions for existing subscribers. They are no more from 22 July.

Day after the TDF finishes so no need to rush to sort something, lol. Fair play to them for not doing it just before or in the middle!

My Eurosport annual sub £39.99 expires partway through the Tour, converts to £6.99 a month after that which I won't be continuing with.

Just went onto Eurosport to cancel the monthly sub from 12th July and there was a splash screen saying Eurosport streaming would cease from 22nd July. But it recommended switching to Discovery+? |

It's on Discovery+ now and has been for some time but there's no sport only subscription. They are giving half price on Discovery+ till Jan 2025 for me, got to sign up by September 2024 so have time. |

Ah, I understand now. Eurosport as a standalone is no more, either on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Discovery only offers the Eurosport items as part of its monthly subscription basis, so even though there remains a £39.99 Discovery+ annual sub, Eurosport is not part of that. So there's an option for £6.99 for one month every time there is a GT on, if timings work OK? |

Might take them up on the £3.49 offer - more or less the same as the £39.99 deal. Though it would only allow me/family to watch the Tour and the Vuelta as there isn't really much else that we would follow from the Eurosport offerings. My offspring may consume more than me, perhaps.

Exactly what you said @larkim, it's not unexpected TBH and I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did once they scrapped it for new subscribers. The only other thing to watch out for is if they do black Friday deals for 12 months but there is no annual subscription to sport anymore. |
