Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I might add that it being the 10th anniversary there will be absolutely, out-of-this-world, entirely adequate souvenirs. Perhaps even touching on the slightly above adequate.

@LindsD Am 'almost' excited. :-)

Am nicking some of today's blog here:

...Sooooo, we still haven't quite decided what to do. I have never had any intention of running, thought I might walk a bridge or two like I did the first time...

The first time? Was or wasn't I present at the very first Thames Bridges Challenge? Not sure.
One way to find out: search the mighty blog!

I know it's exactly ten years ago (EEEEEEEK!) March 2015. Check my blog list for that month, all 54 of them. (Bloody Hell me, I wasn't even retired then). Yes! Yes, I was at the first one and I wrote nine blogs about it, all named after a particular bridge and featuring many stories of various Fetchies, a few bridge facts and some small somethings about ME (and my too tight gold plimsolls).

That's brilliant Sharkie ! I need to seek out those blogs :-)

We will be run/walking the first 5 miles to second start point and then run/walk or just walking to about 8 miles in total, before finding public transport to the pub :-)

I'm trying to work out what I will be able to do this time around. I'll aim to start at the National Theatre as it's convenient for me.

The first time around, I faded about halfway through, then couldn't find the pub with my dying phone, so headed home early.

I'm still wavering. I don't know if I can get away.
