Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Was about to post the same, Oscar.

Scotland were looking at 300+ at one point, but lost a number of late wickets to finish on 277. It still means that Netherlands will need something special to overtake them in the group.

I think that means that Netherlands have to win in 45 overs, but my maths may be suspect.

Best I've found is they need to score the 278 inside 44 overs. Don't quote me on how correct that is.

Wisden via BBC:

If Netherlands clear Scotland's 277 by one run, they need to win in 44 overs. If they clear it by six runs, they need to win in 45 overs.

Yeah that was a great wicket, they do look slightly hurried against Wood, interesting to see what Smith can do

Really exciting watching Wood

" I can see that Bairstown doesn't move his feet when keeping"

Indeed. Neither did buttler. (Not prior)

Which is why I've been saying for a long time foakes was always the superior keeper. He *does*move his feet.

But this debate drifts all the way back past Foster and Read to Stewart Vs Russell.

(btw I think Bairstow is generally a better *keeper* than prior, Jones, Ambrose and probably Stewart).

Jonathan Agnew

BBC cricket correspondent on Test Match Special

That's a sort of catch that if you're going to win the game you really have to take.
