He's started showing submissive behaviour specifically when I try to make a fuss of him after he's done a pee or poo outside. Any ideas?
BaronessBL Jul 2016 12:24pm, 5 Jul 2016 5,626 posts	0 BaronessBL With Wanda (although she was a little older) we didn't make a big fuss of her after she toileted outside but I did try to get her to understand the words so as she was 'going' I would say 'Good girl, do a wee, good wee' or some such thing so that she would (hopefully) learn what do a wee etc meant. I didn't make a really big fuss/reward for 'doing it' though. It seemed to help as when we started training classes we would arrive at the hall, I would take her to the grass verge outside and say 'do a wee' and she would, which meant we didn't tend to have any 'issues' once we were in class (or not those type of issues anyway - plenty of others!!) *I thought people only ever wrote stuff like this on parenting forums - mind you there are probably entire threads on Mumsnet dedicated to the contents of a child's potty.. I've never needed to look thankfully!!!!
