I thought I commented last week but obviously I didn't. ;-)

dod, great to hear that you're coming off the bench and back to the comeback trail. :)

Andy, well done for your 10 today, have a nap if you want. :)

All seems to be working okay in my running life again so now I've been back to club, done parkrun and a 5 miler with the ladies this morning. I won't hit my 700 target but I've now gone over 500 so I won't be too far off. Only 8 parkruns til my 50 now which should be NYE by my reckoning if I have to miss a couple due to races.
Hope you enjoyed your extra hour, have a good Sunday everyone. :)

Well done Andy on the 10 miles this morning.
Good going AR, 5 miles with company sounds good.
I will either do 5 miles this after or tomorrow if I don't have to work all day (fingers crossed). I have a race next Sunday so don't know if I will do 10mile runs incase I tire the leggies out lol.
Have a good week folks

5 miles churned out instead of the 10 I fancied. I didn't really feel good all the way round and only made it back in time :-(

Here's a laugh from yesterday

Nut, well done to you with your non-stop run. :)

I've found that as I've done more runs at a longer distance I feel less wiped out after so my body is making adaptations. I've really noticed it with the 10 mile runs so each time you do the longer ones it will get better. A couple of years ago, an old cyclist said to me that if you go out once a week you get nowhere, twice and your standing still but 3 times or more you will see improvements. I can see that that works with running too and probably anything that you do. :)

LG, I made it home on Thursday only just in time. ;-) I'm trying to log what I eat over the 24 hours before a run when I get caught like that - I'm not sure if anything's related yet. You could have gone back out and done the other 5 though. :)

I was short of time as I was going out for tea. I should have shifted my butt early in the morning ;-)

Great running all :)

Had a lazy day today apart from a wee stroll along the beach after a lovely pub lunch. Can't believe how mild it was! Short sleeves at the end of November :-O

I'm still running in shorts and no jacket, though I did wear long leggings at parkrun yesterday and I cooked but they were appropriate for the dress code of the day!
