Well ideally it’s 3h15m marathon pace (7:26/mile) but if I can do 7:39/mile I’ll be happy as it’ll be 52miles for the week. [converted to mile pace just for you!]

Good luck, he's really quick at the moment. What’s the session?

2 hours, last 30 mins at 7s. I may be too heavy and anchor for him to get down that low though 😂!

Should have been in the mountains with the club tomorrow but it got canned ⛈️.
Ran a 6 mile tempo tonight in lieu, hard but manageable in pretty crappy conditions.
41.23 for the 6, exactly 6.52.5 mm.

That's more like it. You must be in the ballpark for a 1:30 depending how close to race effort that felt.

Yeah I'm leaning towards having a crack at it. I think I would benefit from setting more challenging targets.

Good work Paul. I went out with a club mate who had the same session, 6 at that pace. It was in the blazing sun. I bailed after 2 miles and went to the shop for a drink! He carried on and managed it! I am really struggling to get motivated for hard running at the moment and just trying to keep ticking over until the mojo comes back!
