I did not mistakenly put brackets round my last contribution.
I have not just found a huge quantity of cooking chocolate, and I do know that it's not really worth eating.

I am not ridiculously amused by both the colleagues who decorated the office with this, and by those who are outraged by it:

Wish my neighbours would **** off and die.
Can't really put anything else as it will all be a $%*!$% sort of thing.

My primary objection is to your assumption that my boundaries don't matter. If you had bothered to ask...

I did not nearly pour muesli into my cup of tea that was waiting for its milk.

Rather than apologise for not washing up and leaving a half-full pot of tea on side before you left, you could actually have done the washing up and emptied the teapot. We fed and watered all 6 of you all weekend and only one of you lifted a finger to help, and that was only drying up a few glasses. We're both exhausted at the moment, the last thing we needed when we got in last night was to be faced with swathes of unwashed dishes.
And it's great that you all made your beds. Do you not think stripping them would actually have been more of a help?
I dare not see what a mess you've left in the bathroom.
My mother might well be an odd woman but she and her husband are at least helpful when they stay, so if you are planning to stay for a week, as you keep threatening, you will have to do some work while you're with us. I don't know what you think we do for a living, but it doesn't leave us much time to babysit and coddle two fit and healthy OAPs.

No child of mine would own a special plug-in gadget just for cooking rice.
If one of them happened to come by such a device, they would have the sense not to use it to "cook" one of those sachets of cooked rice that takes 90 seconds in the microwave.
