Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

What's making you smile today?

The new productions of Alan Bennett's 'Talking Heads' single handers on BBC1. Jodie Comer showed she was much more than an OTT psychopath; Lesley Manville's painfully lonely vicar's wife, and Tamsin Greig, as a befriender of a woman who murdered the husband who'd abused & beaten her didn't make for comfortable viewing. Bennett's writing moves so seamlessly in exploring the minutiae of us ordinary souls.

We had an enquiry in today from a potential new client who requested that we WhatsApp him as he's currently abroad. Turns out he got trapped by lockdown - in the Seychelles!!! i could think of worse places to be stuck :-)

This afternoon, in accordance with Government guidance for shielders, Sherry and I visited somewhere (other than a hospital) where there were other people for the first time in over fifteen weeks.

We went to Buscot Park (NT) near Lechlade for a walk around the gardens. It was great to have a stroll.

I also won a Conquersize zone in the process.
