Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Definitely not in my Q which arrived by email this morning.

One oddity I've noted through tracking the twitter gifs etc is how patchy the consistency of having parkrun twitter accounts for local teams is. I thought / assumed every parkrun had a) a FB account b) a twitter account and c) an office email. So that broadly if you're visiting somewhere else you know where to look for info. I'm not a big twitter user, but with the use of twitter for the "permissions bus" it feels like HQ like it a lot so I'm surprised by the number of local events that don't seem to have an account.

Very unlikely because even if you wanted to it's very unlikely that parkrun teams would be able to put on an event with 24 hours notice.

Who is sending them out? HQ, I presume. I've had a couple I've completed.

So after that flurry, the NE looks pretty healthy now, here's London and the NE.

larkim, as a parkrun newbie I certainly found it frustrating that many events didn’t use the official parkrun web site for news about event cancellations, having a few wasted journeys before working out that they generally posted things on Facebook instead.

Should I be worried if I'm Coldham's Common?

(I'm not Coldham's Common)

That seems to be one that has a couple of other very local events that would feed into it. Can't see any others jumping out at me...
