Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Crossed posts with you there. That's much as expected then. Over to you, Boris.

So it's a yes for the 26th unless Boris delays in which case we fit in with that.

Ten minutes after the Guardian story published other sites have started replicating it. Guardian get to claim "exclusive" and publish first presumably due to having written a few other supportive articles over the last week...the parkrun say officially an hour or so later.

Bit of mutual back scratching going on.

All one word, all lower case! Noice.

Although the ultras will be triggered that the journalist didn't reorder the words in the first sentence to avoid the capital letter at the start.

What changes to what Johnson says on Monday will be sufficient for landowners to pull permission?

If weddings go from being 30 to 100 people rather than unrestricted will that be the end of the restart? *
If meeting outside is fully relaxed as initially intended, but nightclubs remain closed will that cause an extended pause?

I would expect some limits to still be lifted, such as limits on spectators at Euro Football matches, but not everything. Annoying that although none of the restrictions currently apply to anything parkrun does, parkrun is still being hindered by them.

* Don't actually know what any of the numbers currently are so just guessing.

"From this evening I must give the British people a very simple instruction - you must stay at home."

That'll do it!

Spideog I guess if Boris actually says "we can now move to Stage 4" it will be sufficient. Otherwise not.

@hunkyteddy

Do you think that Johnson will only announce all stage 4 changes, or no stage 4 changes?

No middle ground of some changes?

Stage 4 is “end of social distancing” isn’t it?
