Red Squirrel
The park redwings are still around and seem to have grown in numbers.
Saw 2 cormorants flying over the dual carriageway/bridge over river at lunchtime. There are so many tits around here - coal, great, LT, blue - lots of blues. Plenty of dunnocks too. Quite good lunchtime cache, especially as we had a dog with us.

Fragile Do Not Bend
We had a huge flock of fieldfares a few days ago, they kept going back and forth between our trees and the field next door.
A lapwing seems to have taken up residence in the field now. I’ve been hearing the same call for a few days, it’s taken me a few days to identify what it was as I don’t have a great memory for bird calls.

Yeah.." wow" to Bonner's Snow Bunting; I've only seen a handful in sixty years. Fragile and Squirrel must have all the winter thrushes, still none for me. Mistle Thrushes, Greenfinches, Dunnocks, Great Tits and Song Thrushes giving out good voice this morning.

steve45, snow buntings are reasonably regular sightings on the Norfolk coast in winter. They come into the category of 'birds I'm not surprised but still delighted to see' - little flocks of them moving up and down the coast, just behind the shoreline, which you can get up quite close to.
We obviously do well over here in winter with birds from the north and east. You perhaps do a little better over there with summer visitors from the south.

New bird to the garden. Am I right in thinking a tree pipit?

Looks like a mistle thrush to me, Roberto. I get that and the song thrush mixed up.

Any idea on the size Roberto? Aren't tree pipits & thrushes 'almost' identical, other than size?

I thought a thrush but rspb bird identifier threw me a bit. But quick Google and I'd say song thrush
