I'm just cursing the fact the Czechs are shit. I expect we'll draw with Turkey after being 2-0 up with 5 minutes to go tomorrow. I expect a batshit insane game, as 2008 was and heartbreak at the death.

Austria will ruthlessly crush the Turks defensive naivety in the next round, and will await someone like Belgium in the quarters.

So often, international tournaments aren't won by the best team there. Very occasionally, they're not even close to the best team.

England were as poor as expected.

Platt was excellent at the villa, though it was hard not to look decent with McGrath defending behind you, Cowans picking out passes for fun and Yorke up top to aim at!
