I have a bento box on the bike with a mixture of nuts, cubes of cliff bar and medjool dates (these are extra large with the stones still in them). The medjool dates slit them open, remove the stone, and fill the cavity with peanut butter and a pinch of salt before squeezing shut. Lovely sweet/salty/savoury taste. My go to IM bike nutrition. If I go on this, I’m ok for the more sweet stuff on the run. |

Nut butter clif bars, they're the bees knees. On a very chilly long bike a couple of weeks ago, I had freezing cold fingers and I fumbled a couple of pieces and dropped them on the road - I actually had a mental debate over whether I should go back for them - they're that good! |
