TRO I will take a gel or 2 on with me as Kendal Mint gels are like melted after eights so a big change to high 5! hoping that variety will aid consumption as I will be out a lot longer than you!
According to Garmin I am lighter now than when I last squeezed into my wettie and I am about the weight I was when I bought it so should be OK!

Pix - try to find something savoury you can cope with as well, sweet stuff gets very icky after a 15+ hours believe me ! Marmite sandwich ?

nice - you'll appreciate something salty, so get practicing to see what your stomach can get on with. Potatoes are good

I do love a roasty! Maybe I should put a picnic in my special needs bag LOL#
Question to the experienced ... once you leave T2 and start the run can you re-enter? eg for extra layers?

I don't think so Pix, might bugger up the timing mats ? You could, ahem, leave extra layers with a friend, and whilst that friend can't hand it to you, if they were to drop it on the floor and you found it .........

I'm a big fan of peanut butter roll ups. Cheap bread flattened out, covered in peanut butter then cut in to quarters and roll them up into spirals.
One of those every 20 minutes or so on the bike does me. They fit neatly into a top tube bag as well.
