To all the selfish gits I've seen and heard about over the weekend, having little parties with your big gaggle of mates, clogging up local parks and beauty spots (and leaving your shit everywhere), and just generally being arseholes in the current climate - you're the reason we can't have nice things, and you'll be the reason that what nice things we do currently have, are taken away from the rest of us.

[The whole Durdle Door idiocy couldn't be a clearer example of people not having the faintest idea that they're doing something extremely dangerous & their fun day out is going to end a lot more badly than they expected.]

[I heard a young man who'd saved a couple of the tombstoners on the local radio this morning, it brought me to tears.]

I think you all need to stop and have a long hard think about what you are doing. 4 households having a bbq with shared condiments etc at the beach is not really appropriate. You were all within 2 metres of each other as well.

[I wish people would stop passively aggressively shaming/judging everyone else on Facebook and the likes.

Say it to people's faces, or not at all....

maybe if you say it to their face you'll get their rationale, and if they are irrefutably wrong, maybe you can educate them.]

[Fair point in principle Maz (and I agree I'd like to see an end to the worst of it) but it's not always that easy in practice.

Faced with a choice between bottling up frustrations or getting into a real life argument, I don't find it hard to understand why some my prefer to vent in a relatively safe space such as this thread]

It's quite clear that you don't give a monkeys about social distancing, and don't really give two shits about the people who will have to look after you if you catch the virus, and the danger you are putting them in.

I bet you religiously "clapped for carers" though.

Thoughtless pricks.
