Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I had a twitching eye. The fact that it was going daft, effectively making me wink repeatedly at the trainer for a child protection course, was not awkward at all.

Here’s an idea: how about instead of sending a PDF to fill in which I either have to print out, fill in by hand or, apparently, can fill in using my fucking phone which results in illegible writing which a 3 year old would be proud of, you either send a WORD document which we can type in or use a Google form or something similar? You’re teachers FFS, these things shouldn’t be so difficult and communicating to and from parents should not take hours of everyone’s time and extreme effort. The technology is there, people, use it!

You might consider yourself funny and liked.

You might like to reconsider.

[couldn’t, plus I was on my phone, scrawling with my finger on a tiny screen was the lowest effort option!]

You say that, barring accidents with food or dirt, you can get away with wearing the same t-shirt for three consecutive days?

Nope. Again you are in the wrong!

And why, when you openly acknowledge that you have lost much of your sense of smell, do you insist on arguing that things (like you and your belongings) don't pong really quite badly?

This has all been said, very subtly ... and the with the subtly of a falling house brick. (He recognises and agrees that he's lost his sense of smell but is absolutely adamant that he doesn't whiff ... because he can't smell himself ;-) )

I didn’t see what I’m pretty sure was a drug deal happening in the middle of the high street of a very well to do town. 😳

[I’m aware that I probably have lived a sheltered life and this should not have surprised me.]

Had a bit of a Charlie Brown '!!!Aaaaaaarh!!!', typed it and then, somehow, wiped it :-o

(Well, it is the 'things you want to say but can't' thread, so I guess I've kept it true in both spirit and word ;-) )
