Dear whiny lab manager,
Were you as good at reading emails as you are at sending them, you would be aware that I have passed that task on to the finance department, what with being a scientist myself and not a finance expert. Passive aggressive emails implying I'm too stupid to fill your form out are misdirected. I would also put it to you that if our finance department are struggling with it, it's probably unclear and doesn't check its inputs.
In conclusion, ****.
[No idea how I got landed with this ridiculous problem in the first place. Nobody is willing to pay my hourly rate on it, which won't stop me getting complaints about failing to recover costs at year's end of course.]

Yeah, I purposefully got cancer to stress you out and I also made sure I got ill with the bug you brought here in the first place. I am absolutely loving both feeling deadly ill with cancer and chemo and being floored by this cold on the few good days in a 3 week chemo cycle I actually now don't get to enjoy. It was topped by spending a day in a&e, which was delightful and not to check out that I wasn't suffering from neutropenic fever/sepsis. All for the delight of cutting our short holiday shorter and stress you out. This sort of thing is completely under my control and I am sorry, I shall stay ill for a little longer, just because 🙄🙄🙄
