Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That's one hell of an Aga in the kitchen - it looks like it could power the Titanic.

I'd have that one. The football pitch would go and be replaced with a golf practice area.

Sorry that’s mine. I’m keeping the football pitch and putting in full-size goals.

"Sun all day"

That's quite a promise.

That house is a catalogue of all the things I don't want in a house. The only thing they've missed out is a titchy swimming pool.

I chortled at "sun all day". Makes me wonder how many lies there are in the rest of the description! And what's the point of a drum kit with no neighbours to annoy?

Fozzy, I think Giggleswick used to be a relatively important village, its tentacles may still reach far. Or else the owners just think the name has more cachet than Eldroth.

You are probably right. The bit of moorland above that house and before you drop into Gisburn Forest is labelled as Giggleswick Common on the OS maps.

I suppose technically it does have the sun all day, it's just hidden behind several miles of cloud

I like that area, considering a move up that way myself. Not into a gaff of that magnitude, I hasten to add!
