Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Only just scrapes an E for energy efficiency ... will be costly to keep warm.

This one would belong equally on the Cats in Boxes thread. On the other side of town from Muttley Mansions, space for a couple of humans and up to 50 felines (who seem to have their own snack bar, as per pic 25):

I'd buy that if I liked cats, wanted a small business, and was prepared to relocate to the other end of the country.

Re pic 25, that's exactly what I was thinking, Muttley. Nice, but not enough space in the house for us.

Great find. I wonder why a Methodist Chapel had a train track.

I used to want a garden railway (someone in Birmingham had a brilliant one that he opened up to the public a few times a year) but not enough to keep wanting one when VP moved on from model railways. All I managed was enough Playmobil to have a railway layout that ran from room to room.

Depends on the planning situation I would think. There's a much larger chapel near my house that went for £100K in 2021, because it can only be used as a community facility. The owners don't appear to have touched it since then, so I assume their plan is to leave it vacant and unloved for long enough that the National Park authority let them do something different with it.
