The accomodation might need an upgrade though. You'd need to be a strong swimmer to reach Thurso Station, and it's a few miles over the fields, down the road, round the bay, over the hill and into the village to get the morning milk and paper, but these are minor inconveniences...

Frilly pink staircase, fake palm trees behind the bar, sofas so close together you'd be smacking your knees on the lantern between them, the red sink/mirrored cabinet combo in the bathroom and the sunken bath actually looks really shallow...it reminds me of those little footbaths you troop through at the swimming pool to lessen the spread of verrucas!
