Mmm. Somehow I don't see a future career for you as a peace negotiator Rich.

So, the Polish house was actually hit by a Ukrainian missile that missed it's target. Tragic accident, however the Twitter trolls had a day of #zelenskyisawarcriminal In other news, one of the Ukrainians I know is now in a refugee camp in Essen, Germany with her young son. There were a few missiles hit her town but the main problem is now limited and unreliable electricity now it's winter. |

The apparent murder of surrendered Russian soldiers is more worrying. Any defence that the Russians did it first won't fly. |

Some might say that this is a cynical analysis but the guy makes a good case: cepa.org |

Should add to previous post, no power means no light, no heat, no cooking, no laundry. The water supply also damaged so all of that is available for a few hours a day. Her older son and ex-partner are still there(it's near Lviv) because males their age have to be available for defence.

I think those conditions are well understood and widely reported Rob, it's a prime strategic aim of the invading force. |

Some might say that this is a cynical analysis but the guy makes a good case: cepa.org I'd say it's totally realistic, only those who are hiding from the truth would say he's being cynical. I completely agree with what he writes, it must be quite a relief for the Biden administration that the Republicans didn't do as well in the mid-terms as prophesised, meaning Trump's puppets won't be able to halt the support of aid to Ukraine. Long may it continue I say. It's outrageous that a fucking lunatic like Trump can exert such a baleful influence on the course of a war, even though he's not in office. I suspect a lot of Americans (and me) would like to see the bastard locked up in solitary for the rest of his miserable existence. |

Bloody hell I'm agreeing with NE entirely! With the piece posted why the hell wouldn't you sub contract the dismantling of your main rivals military to a very capable force? It's cheap and as said gives said rival an economic nightmare for decades, also breaks that spell that they are any good at fighting wars. |

My son works in the aerospace/armaments industry and the consortium he works for is deluged with work.
