Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I learned that lesson too, Gobi, and I run with the treadmill flat. I wear Lunaracers on the treadmill (7mm drop) but still find it hard on my calves. Part of the problem may be that I don't use the treadmill enough to become adapted to it.

I also run with zero incline on the treadmill. Bit of a waste really since i have an incline treadmill. My ceiling is so low i never get to raise it anyway.

HOD,

I have one pair of Zoom Gravity, worn them a couple of times in a year. 5/10 for me, not the worst shoe I've ever worn but wouldn't buy any more (paid £54 from Nike website)

For me they feel slightly clunky and unresponsive, but everyone's experience will be different. I was shocked to see them turn up in the World Marathon Champs chart albeit only one male runner had them I think.

They also feel like they have quite a big heel to toe drop, but I've not checked the specs.

(I only bought them in May 2020, so I've not had them a year, my mistake)

Re. the treadmill incline - I've read some stuff that suggests the heat-stress compared with running outdoors means you're working as hard at 0% incline anyway. As a compromise I put GPS routes into mine, so it then simulates the ups (but not the downs, sadly), so you get a bit of variety, hopefully without the injury risk.
