Are you referring to the Floatride Run Fast or the Run Fast Pro? They're different shoes. The standard Run Fast has too much drop for me but is a lot more cushioned than the Pro.

SPR i'm referring to the Floatride Run Fast 2. I never ran in the pros. I found them pretty cushioned the first few miles but now after 100 miles not so much. |

I guess that's pebax dying quickly. I have two pairs of pros and will get another pair when they're next on sale. The second pair will come out for my next race. The first pair will be a training pair from now on. |

I'm still wearing my Gen1 4% and to be honest I am not sure what I will do next, these real high shoes freak me out a little so I may just shop normal (minimal) and accept I am not being as fast as I could be.

Gobi there really isn't a replacement for the 4% yet in my opinion. I've done my last few workouts in the Next% and it seems like a waste of shoe in my opinion. I have ordered a pair of the Endorphin Pros and will be giving them a try this week.

Has anyone any advice on how the ZF3 compares to the ZFFlyknit? I've recently, and belatedly, broken out my ZFFs for training and really like them but anticipate it may be difficult to get more. Also patrolling the internet trying to nab more VF4% in my size. |

The thing that may potentially drive me to these shoes is if I start missing out on road relays national places etc because everyone has them. Hopefully the weight of shoe advantage I have equalises the mechanical advantage at 10km and below. I'm watching the spikes and will be interesting to see if they become mainstream on track. |

Has the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro been posted here? They've gone for a different approach which seems to work and might explain why they took so long to get something out. roadtrailrun.com |

SPR, I'm with you on that. I really don't want to have to buy a pair of these, but now I fear I'm falling behind because most people I'm competing against in races is wearing them. Has anyone who is familiar with the Nike 4%/Next%/whatever tried any of the other brands' equivalents and found them to be as effective? |

J2R i've tried the Adizero pros and they basically the same as the Adizero Adios in my opinion, i did my first run in the Endorphin pros tonight and they do pack a punch. I'd say comparable to the 4% but definitely nothing on the Next%. I haven't been able to get my hands on a pair of Adizero Adios pros yet, don't think i'll be trying the metaracers but i might take a punt on the NB RC Elite. |
