That's a size 12 as well so those with small feet probably get under 100g!

Good point - those Nike weights are all UK size 9.
(Saucony Endorphin Racer 2016 Edition is 105g/shoe, and you also leave your Achilles out on the course if you wear them thus saving even more weight!)

LOL!!! The Reeboks use Pebax so are nicely cushioned for their weight. Happy to do faster training runs in them but don't want to wear them out!
My previous racers, the Mizuno Wave Universe 5 (103g!) only came out for track training, road races, and an acclimatisation run before races, lol. Might not have been able to cope with wearing them much if I did many road races (only do the road relays), lol.

My Cinderella slippers have arrived! So called cos my wife said I looked like an ugly sister trying to force them on. A bit tighter than the VF but fine once installed. 255g per shoe for size 11. Huge but feel like acrobatic stilts.

Regarding weights for sizes, I always take at least half a size (sometimes a size and a half!) larger in Adidas than Nike, which makes comparing the weight of the "same" size pointless. JDA - yes they are a battle to get on, but the fit feels fine once you've done it I think. I've still not run in them mind, and I've had them for months now.

I was mocked for using a shoehorn to get my AFs on. Apparently nobody uses shoehorns anymore? Just bludgeon around with your fingers instead, y’all.

Please ignore any aspersions i might have cast on the Tempo Next% previously. I just did 8 miles in them and absolutely loved the ride. Yes, they're noisy, they might be heavy but the energy return is there.
It isn't as explosive as the 4% or Next% but its a different type of ride. My cadence was pretty high and i felt like i was maintaining a very smooth gait cycle in them. I definitely recommend.

RM, I have to shoehorn my feet into my Nike XC spikes, no amount of loosening the laces gets me close to fitting into them, but they have ample space at the toe end.
I switched back to far comfier Brooks XC spikes at my last race and didn't see any performance difference (there's nothing inherently special about the Nike XC spikes and the ground was so heavy end of the season that I would be struggling with whatever I was in)

My second longer outing on the new shoes: 12 miles on Alphaflys at half marathon pace yesterday and a mid arch blister on one foot as a reward. I rarely blister. It's a shame, as the distance felt like less effort at better pace. They had felt surprisingly comfortable prior to blister development. Is it the narrow midfoot and the spring of the shoe due to the carbon plate? Socks same as always. Thoughts appreciated.

I had a blister with the Tempo Next% on my first run at the point where my midfoot meets the toes. but i didn't get any subsequently. I did all my runs in the last 7 days in them.
