ITG - I load the outer edge so from the other side my left foot does the same - I was at max testing :¬)
Larks - I think they are causing me hamstring fatigue - I wore a brand new pair the other weekend so it isn't just this old pair :¬)

Interesting. Then there is hope for me in terms of GFA, perhaps a whole boatload of 40-49 year olds will fail to make the start of marathons because of injuries, and not push the GFA target further out of my reach!
(That's my only gripe about VFs. 3 years ago I was slower than I am today, and younger. Yet GFA for London was 3:15 which I felt secure at achieving. Then they moved the goal posts to 3:10, and now it's 3:10 minus some time due to being over-subscribed. If the volume of runners in VFs now is much bigger, and they are taking 2-3 minutes potentially off times for 3 to 3:15 runners, I could see my personal approach of sticking with non-VF shoes leaving me out in the cold in terms of bagging a GFA, even if I take 10 minutes off my PB! And yes, of course I could just buy some. Perhaps, perhaps, if I secure GFA in Manchester I might be tempted, but I want to try to earn GFA based as much on my improvement, not my shoes' improvement)

I don't think you can actually buy VF shoes in the UK at the moment, other than in a couple of smaller sizes. So it doesn't seem likely that there'll be hordes of people using them in April Marathons. Or is it expected that Nike's new shoe will be available here in March and a lot of people will be happy to cough up £300 for them?

Given how many I've seen at local League races, parkruns, etc, I doubt the current shortage will mean few pairs in action in April!

Cerrertonia - could it be that the reason you can only buy them in small sizes is that they have sold shed loads of the bigger sizes, therefore hoards of people will already have them and be planning to run their spring marathons in them ?

818 miles now on my Blue VFs 4% (sorry I need to colour them as I have Orange ones too ) that wore for the first time at the Anglo Celtic Plate in 2019, so nearly a year old. Still going strong, albeit they don't have anywhere near that out the box feeling :), they are still very very comfortable. I am hoping they will breach the 1000 mile marker in the next couple of months. Value for money? Absolutely

Mine have the same or similar wear as your ones do Gobi, the little black inserts in the soles are starting to come away, but I still think there is plenty life in them yet. The ones I have binned have been down to the upper bursting to such a gaping hole, show goo has no chance repairing.
