Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Took advice and got a good warm up, 72 for first lap.

Realised half way round 3ks don't start and finish in same place...noticed the handy lap to go counter with 2 laps to go as I wasn't really sure how far we'd gone. Finished bang on 9.00 in about 15th or something. Really enjoyed it. Must try and do another. I think a lot of the fast lads had given it a miss apparently there are a few big races on this weekend?

9 mins is awesome time NN - and for first attempt - looks like you're a natural for track.

Here's a tip from Dave Bedford on how to take the 2nd lap on your next outing

I feel a fraud for posting here on the basis of my running speed, so please excuse my intrusion.

Just been diag as having Gilmores Groin and notice from PSimons link that he has been through this.
(Sorry to read about your shin injury PSimon)

Please can I ask - does anyone know if a faulty running technique can cause Gilmores Groin (am wondering if there is something I can change about my future running post op)

Many thanks
