poop - I never kept any payslips from my previous employer :-/

We don’t even have HR to give holiday sheets to any more. You’ve to use an app.

I have got every pay slip from my working life (our Local Authority wasn't paperless when I retired so I still got a paper copy each month) and every P60. I don't need them any more, but it's interesting sometimes to look back at the numbers. I was earning £5500 pa in my first adult job. Fortunately, you could buy a house for £30k at that time.

I will receive my first pension payment on 6 May...with the outstanding amount from 24 Feb to be included.

Serious sympathy, Fields :-O Fight for it, let other things go if necessary.

(I lost a chunk of pension on divorce. It was the right thing to do at the time because agreeing to that demand gave me leverage to call a halt to the court proceedings, get a clean break, and move on.)

While I was out on my bike today I met a former colleague who retired around a year before my first retirement. She was a really good nurse and a hard worker, but she hasn't looked back and is having the time of her life.

I have to admit I don’t understand how someone who I think earns 3 times more than I do would be entitled to half of what I have. Think my having more assets is going to be my risk.

I have a private pension from former jobs and just over a year in LGPS who look after my current pension. I would hope I don’t lose any of LGPS.
