My wife is 56 and has been doing 3 days per week for last few years (though she also runs her own business in the other 9 days of the week). I will be at least 56 before I can start cutting down (or changing to different job type), and expect to still be earning something. Though grow your own veg and build your own electricity generation capability is looking attractive work too! ![]() |

After the last week of garden clearance and rubbish dump trips, I might prefer to be 'back at work'. It was a lot easier.

£12.73!!!!! The raid on my pension pot has given me a figure in my savings account (temporarily, until the new car arrives) that is earning me some interest. I don't think I've earnt £12.73 in bank interest in my 55 years alive if you add them all up together. Let alone in just the one month! (it's the small things in life that count) |
