@Bazoaxe like your style. I used to hate those training meetings and dreaded break out groups. Any excuse to avoid....

I do some volunteer work. I clock in, clock out. Bit of weeding, bit of clearing away leaves, bit of planting. Easy peasy. Job done. Bantz with the team. Bish bash bosh. Today they are subjecting me to 8 hours of Carbon Literacy training. I have homework and post course assignments. No likey no lighty. |

Or JB... what fun, a chance to learn more about the planet and one of the most important topics of the era?! Just think of it as an Open University course you signed up for. Education in retirement. And for free! G

lol, I have a bit of an issue, its annual renewal of staff benefits time and given I dont plan to work the full year I wondered what happens. I only use three benefits: 1) Pension contributions by salary sacrifice so thats easy and stops 2) Health care which again stops and if I want to have cover I need my own 3) Travel Insurance - but heres this issue Apparently the annual policy stops when I leave. I have already booked a trip which will be a few weeks after my planned leaving date and had assumed the travel insurance just rolls on, but actually now looks like I need to drop that benefit and take out my own annual policy |

um
Baz - is it worth contacting the relevant insurance companies and getting a quote to continue as is but with a personal policy? I assume the travel would stay in place, until you leave, when you'd want another to run? |
