We scattered MiL and FiL’s ashes in Majorca last year - and the Spanish undertaker who organised it was kind enough to comingle them so they went into the sea off Cala Bona. No issues taking them on the plane beforehand, but we had all the bits of paperwork we could think of, just in case. No-one asked for anything.

apropo ashes. Apparently so many people try to sneak ashes into Jane Austen's garden that there is a real issue with the smell. And, btw, 'officially' you need permission to dispose of cremains on someone else's land. Don't ask me what else I know, or how...

You also can’t send them via DPD I know exactly where I want mine scattered. And I need to update my will accordingly, but never get round to it. |
