jda Sep 2023 10:38am, 14 Sep 2023 15,450 posts	0 jda Yesterday's retirement project was a massive (by my standards anyway) bike ride round the Yorkshire Dales, 145km in all and 2800m of climbing. Today's project was creating and consuming a mountain of marzipan croissants, mission accomplished.

GimmeMedals Sep 2023 10:49am, 14 Sep 2023 25,831 posts	0 GimmeMedals Yesterdays retirement mission was a longish, hilly run, a Cornish pasty at a quaint cafe we frequent whilst here and a sea swim. Accomplished. Today we raise the stakes - a longish walk over the sand dunes on the SWCP to the town of Hayle, where we will be hunting down an ice cream shop that has been recommended to us. After the walk back, there could be another sea swim.
