Got some cycling shorts in Aldi tonight for £7.99. Quite a bit of other cycling stuff available.

I could've given you some for free, RS. I've tried several times to give away my barely-worn Aldi cycling shorts on Fetch and had no takers.

Possibly this is because I acknowledge that I'm giving them away because the padding is in all the wrong places and they're not even fit for using on the turbo.

(So if ANYONE would like two pairs of shorts and one pair of undershorts, women's small, Aldi, circa 2007, vgc but completely unfit for purpose ... )

The chamois is a bit big; will see if it chafes me. The shorts aren't cut that small either but I struggle to find good shorts anyway so they'll do.

I've got some Aldi compression shorts and vest which I wear under stuff for the bike. I like it.

Thanks for the offer 'Rap. :)

I might be tempted to pop into Aldi and get some of the disposable sunspecs for taking on holiday.

We have loads of their sunglasses, cheap as chips, great for running and golfing and teens who lose things all the time

I spotted two Fetch-vests on ebay yesterday - women's - one black, one red - size small.

If they're mine, someone in my household is going to be throttled with their own hamstring tendons tonight :P

If they're not mine ... thanks for the heads-up, Craig :)
