Fizz :-)
Mine too :-)

And the council have put some bunding down the end of our road. I’m going to give it a couple of weeks in case they come back to landscape, then put all my spare seeds in it.

I scratched about and found some seeds from last year. No allotment to grow them in but the front garden is very sunny and warm. Going to see what I have, definitely have done pretty back ones and maybe some tall ones

Hmm, there's an idea. On the SSE facing bound there is a stone wall and an area of municipal bushes, which have had their annual cut down and will probably be left to it now. Could do marigolds on the outside edge.

Good work leggy, the first mention of a non-sunflower and you are on it!

That's what i meant! - sunflowers against the wall and, er, other things, elsewhere. Having had a look at things, not as straightforward as I'd thought. It used to be plain grass (my childhood cricket pitch) but the council appeared in the 80s with a load of bushes, a plan, and some people who couldn't read a plan. So it all got a bit overplanted. Still, i have secaturs and a cordless hedge-trimmer.

But i digress :-) now have 100% germination in the individual trays. Couple of days of sun on the greenhouse have done the trick.
