Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It's a splendid foxglove.

It is however, a foxglove.

This is a sunflower competition.

To allow it would be equivalent to letting a cat enter crufts.

Or a badminton player enter Wimbledon.

Sorry can't allow it.

Well done on its general foxglovey awesomeness tho

Many of mine have been eaten or totally battered by the rain that just flooded all the roads and made my drive home from work pretty scary, but this is my tallest at the moment at 26 inches.

Having seen Fizz's sunflower picture my sunflowers are feeling distinctly inferior. I will try to send in my picture later but as the internet is down and the child who promised to help has gone to work I am left only being able to admire other people's by phone.

Mine are at least three weeks ahead of all of yours. (Next year we'll have an official agreed start date :-))

We've had a couple of casualties in the storm, but my tallest one is ok. And the foxglove is too (lol at Sushi, I may be appealing to a higher court for a supreme judgement).

Have a go on your own, Marmite, imagine how proud you'll feel if you manage it :-)

It might be ok - my Benty McBentstem is still going surprisingly strong. I'll stick a photo up tomorrow.
