The best thing to do is to wet the soil thoroughly then leave it to drain for a bit, then you can pick up the whole rootball and hopefully it's easier to handle the stem without bending it. I'm going to transplant mine today, wish me luck...

I think he should become our competition mascot - so you have to keep him alive now m4p No pressure !!!!
If you're going to plant some more try scuffing the seed pods a bit. Helps the pod absorb water and get the growing started so I believe. I did this , just gently (and I mean gently) rubbed the edge of each seed on sandpaper. All except one came up
I have no idea where I got this tip from - so if it don't work for you , don't blame me

I didn't do this, but I imagine soaking them might work too. Most of my seeds came up, might be a bit random/unnecessary!
