But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. The gallery as a thing in its own right probably needs some thinking about - but that's a whole other project :-)

If you put your mouse on the folks on the map now, I've ditched the popup avatars in favour of showing the user nickname, and a link to their current Street View.

Is there a way to see how much ahead or behind the target mileage you are, like the grey line in the yearly target graphs?

@Angus Clydesdale thanks for the clarification. There was a pitch about half a mile from that club (I checked later). Like Hanneke, I've often wondered why the club is plonked in the centre of town.

(The three RFC near me have the clubhouse directly facing the playing ground, which was more what I'd expect if the function of the club was purely "sporting".)

There's a very placid looking dragon out on the course now. His name (provided by The Boy) is Darwin* - stay in front of him, and you're ahead of schedule.

*I feel like he's earned his pocket money for that :-)
