I'm now on an ugly roundabout, but it is close to Oadby where my grandparents lived for years. Another English town I've never visited and would have struggled to place on a map. No standing castles today, but there was a demolished one en route impressive enough in the 16th century that Mary Queen of Scots stayed there. Today's image is our local bronze age stone circle, the castle was to the right of the house on the horizon about 200m away.
