I went to the north relay back a few months and found it missing, so I did a temporary replacement baton (I think it was a discarded wooden spoon) and moved it to a location further north. My next plan was to get a proper replacement and then mark it as moved, with photo W3W etc. I didn’t get it sorted…so sorry. Life has been rather hectic and it has gone by the wayside. I am very sorry but today we are going to rectify the situation with a replacement north relay. It’s starting to get closer to Wellingborough so hopefully it will be coming towards some different fetchies soon.

Might have been quite amusing to find and hide a wooden spoon. Thanks for getting the North relay going again. This Saturday is shaping up for a nice triple activity morning with a visit to Irchester parkrun, followed by some support for Sam Jelfs in his ultra and then finding/moving the North relay towards Wellingborough assuming no one else visits 1st.

fetcheveryone Nov 2023 1:41pm, 16 Nov 2023 29,811 posts	0 fetcheveryone Given the scarcity of European Fetchies, perhaps the person who takes it to the coast picks a new direction for it. So in this case, either North, South, or West. Perhaps I can rename them the Gold, Silver, Blue and Red relays.
