Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I only have 29 or 700c, skipped 27.5

I was quite happy on a 26in wheeled MTB but I'm not great on an MTB and the 29 inch wheels cover a lot of my sins

(put another way I rode what my team at the time gave me)

27.5" is a lot better than 29" when the going gets tight, twisty and technical.

Currently have two 29er's and one 700c road bike.

Gobi also likes to crash, or at least hug the odd tree.

Anyone else here dot-watching GBDuro? Currently reading “we rode all day” an account of the 1919 TDF and occurs to me that GBDuro is pretty much that...

The (15!) riders went over the Quantocks yesterday: unfortunately I couldn’t get away to go and shout to them

No Junbe forgot about that.
Will check if they get anywhere near Merthyr and will try and get out but legs are creaking after nightmare in the heat last Friday so heart head and legs might be in conflict lol

Since the last appearance of Kaph, some time ago... there are now three wheel sizes, and now new plus (+) tyres for the even more adventurous!

26 / 27.5 (650b) / 29 / 27.5+ (650b+) / 29+ / fat
whatever you ride, enjoy it :)

Gravel also welcome :)

Also, is 26 dead yet?
