Some nice tracks there Hann. I have always liked that Salt & Pepper track, it's got that indefinable "something" that makes it hard core northern soul. Maybe it's because it's so simplistic and heartfelt, I don't know.
I have spent the last few hours immersed in music and decided it's time to commit to another offering to the FE Top 100, it's one of my favourite records and I've been lucky enough to see it performed live. The record is "Hung Up on Your Love" by The Monclairs and I saw Phil Perry (the lead singer) smash it out at a Prestatyn weekender around 2004. I hope you enjoy it as much as me

OK .... and here's something a bit different for you. I've always been a sucker for a mournful girl vocal with nice backing harmonies and this hits the spot hard. See what you think:
Sort of quiet around here guys, have we all lost our soul or is the New Year blues??? Here's my latest proposal to join the top 100, this should cheer you up I first aired this a couple of years back, but it's way overdue for another outing. It's from the 70s so is "modern" in that context, but believe me this was massive on the NS scene and a real dancefloor favourite. Uplifting.
I thought I might indulge of my "other" passion for your entertainment
Feel free to post, but please do try and keep it soulful. No funk or ska please! I maintain an off-line list of all the tracks posted, if you would like a copy please feel free to fmail me.
