Thanks all - will be back tomorrow for a proper post-mortem, but wanted to say thanks to those who looked after my (somewhat extended) family. It was fantastic to see the kids, even if they were not that keen on giving their sweaty dad a hug, but they had a great time.
Safe to say that fetchpoint gave me a real boost but couldn't prevent a pretty tough final three miles - more a slow puncture than full wheels off blow up so the 3.30 proved tantalisingly out of reach to finish in 3.32.39. Loved every minute though (almost) so in the ballot for next year, so will be at fetchpoint again either way, running or supporting - now thats a win-win
