Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Likewise MrsB. I miss those bike rides down that way collecting flowers 😀

I still run the route occasionally, running from the Basingstoke side of Alton to Farnham for breakfast is a totally sane thing to do isn't it?

Not mad at all. Neither is running the LM in reverse 🤪. ITV website has picked up on the story.

Yes - I saw! The photo they use in that is the one of our group outside the National Gallery before we set off.

what was odd is that there appeared to be groups running nohtaram eht whilst we were setting up Fetchpoint. they were not going to cover the distance in the time they had - so no idea how far they planned to go.
I suppose that they might have been heading to support/water/marshal stations?

Hi Fetchpointers, I was waving my Fetch buff around and yelled "Fetchies" as I went past on the other side and got some lovely cheers in return.

On the way back I was too knackered to yell and just waved my buff around a bit. Nobody noticed!

Had a tough day but finished in 4:25. A great experience. The support from the crowds was amazing.
