CC2 - you can get DLR straight from Lewisham to Shadwell, then it's just a couple of minutes walk

I usually get the DLR to Shadwell - it's pretty close.

Good morning Team 1ers - now on the final wind-down towards the big day, hope you are all taking it fairly easy this week and starting to load some carbs cake cake cake

Don't forget to put any info about your race kit and your Fetchpoint requirements on the spreadsheet (accessed from the main VLM thread), or fmail me if you prefer. If you are able to put a photo of yourself in your race kit in the gallery, and let us know, that would be lovely :-)

Hi Folks,

I haven't been on Fetch fro a bit but the day is getting close and I wonder whether my friend Maggie and I could join this group as runners.

We don't need much. A couple of handfuls of Jelly Babies and some support would be lovely.

Maggie is VI and I will be guiding her. We will be wearing Guide dogs gear. We'll be quite slow.

JJ - it will be an honour to supply you and Maggie with as many jelly babies and as much support as you require! If there is anything else you need, just ask :-)

Am gettin excited - oh how sad is that.
VIP, before I forget, can I say a very big TY to Kawala and Schenke for all the efforts in organising FP. Having seen 1 at Edin a few years back, the support is fab and very much appreciated, so thank you again!!!

Thank you Barky - it's very kind of you to say that, but Kwala is the one who has done all the work - we just turn up, have a great time and shout ourselves hoarse! ;-)

Having 'experienced' Fetchpoint at Abingdon a couple of times, and at London in 2012, I know just how important it can be from a runner's perspective - so it's nice to return the favour!

Following on from Barky - just to add my thanks to all involved! I'm hoping to be able to run on by with just a wave, a shout and a few high fives. But just knowing you guys will be there, just in case the wheels come off is a massive help!
