Cheers Kwala. It felt like a weight off when I decided, which made me sure I was right not to run. Really excited about Fetchpoint. See you all 2morrow 😊

StorksRock - Fetchpoint is VERY exciting, almost as exciting as running it, but a bit less exhausting That was the right decision to make - there will be other marathons - hope to see you tomorrow.

Fetchpoint is way more exhausting than running. It takes more than twice as long for starters

You are always lovely, Schnecke. I have very fond memories of you helping at Abingdon, as well as running through See you tomorrow.

Interesting start to the day with the baby being sick at 6.30am. Seems 100% ok now, so fingers crossed that's it. Not quite the casual, relaxed introduction to marathon day I'd envisaged though!

This morning I have flattened the cola. The things I do. Someone had better want to drink it! I used every sizeable vessel in the apartment getting the fizz out!

Another fabulous day at Fetchpoint - a huge WELL DONE to all Team 1 runners, and apologies to anyone we managed to miss! It was so nice to meet some Fetchies I had only previously seen on a virtual basis - I will be adding some names to my stickerbook shortly, but for now I need to go to bed as standing at FP all day has made me almost as tired as running the thing itself ....
Did that cola ever actually get flat in the end, btw?

Thanks to you all. I saw Schnecke and CC2 at both 14 and then did a bit of a high5 at 21 miles. I was in a world of pain for most of the second half but the crowds were just incredible. I thought about other marathons in the world and I don't believe there can be one with a better crowd and atmosphere.
