Oooh, that's lovely. I've found a design I'm obsessed with. I need to try contacting the artist to see if I can get permission to use it, but I don't know if I can trust online translation bots to not make me sound a) rude or b) crazy. I suppose I could try emailing in English but that also seems rude. |

What language does the artist speak? I bet there's a Fetchie who could help if you started a thread asking |

Back here as I’m pondering a new tattoo. I want a lying down dragon with its tail curled but maybe a small dragon in flight. I don’t want cutesy cartoon but don’t want an aggressive dragon. If I was talented I could draw what I’d like 😂 sent a message to my tattooist let’s see what he comes up with. Did you get your tattoo sorted Carpathius How has your tattoo healed A Rae in a manger it looks fab in white never seen that before. |

A Rae in a manger that white tattoo is amazing - in the pic it looks like it is almost like you’re wearing something with a fine lace sleeve, does it look like that in real life? I love the way it is so subtle and goes against the stereotypical bold statements that tattoos often make - and the reasons why some people seem so anti them. I’m still in awe of my tattoo, and it really makes me smile whenever i catch sight of it. I currently have lots of thoughts mulling over regarding my next one, but something white is definitely in mind having seen yours Rae. |

Yeah, a cross between wearing a lace top or looking like my skin is made of expensive paper 😂 I feel in love with the look of white ink twenty one years ago, then it took me about ten more years to find an artist that would actually do big pieces in it - one guy refused to let any artist in his studio in Cardiff do a piece for me because he thought it looked shit 🤷🏼♂️ so I waited a year for one of the study to leave that studio and set up their own in Caerphilly, but he wanted to do a small test piece before the big one I wanted. So I got a small piece on each wrist, then moved to NL and going back to Wales to get tattoos didn't seem practical. I found my current artist through a friend of a friend, and I think he then felt it was a matter of pride that he'd been recommended as someone who would at least try something new. Now he's super proud of what he's done on me and always shows me off when I'm in his studio 😂 |

I'm booked in 9th August to have the next one done!!!! Decided on a dragon across my shoulder/upper arm. I would really love a half sleeve done so this may well be the start.... exciting. I know I'll get a lot of stick from some family members - why at almost 54 is this even an issue! haha |
