Fetch, is there a way of linking to threads in the tag list thingy, so we can click on ones that have only a few linked threads. e.g. brompton only has one tag, if we could click and see which thread it was it could then be tagged more appropriately? I appreciate this wouldn't work for ones with lots of threads tagged, so maybe just for tags where the thread count is less than a certain number.

Did we ever decide how to tag those chat threads? I thought of “banter”.

sofa seems to have been used on some. I am very much opposed to banter.

FDNB - no, I'm not sure there was ever a consensus.
Purps - I can hopefully sort that out. I want to make the tags clickable anyway, so it's on the plan.

Purps - I know this doesn't quite answer your question, but if you see a single-use tag, you can search for the term in threads, then, if there are any results, look at the old-style related threads box to see if any are relevant for tagging.
I think I have found two more brompton threads by doing that. It's a bit random, but as long as Fetch's infinite number of monkeys with an infinite number of typewriters keep at it, we'll get them all eventually!

For my penance, I've gone through all the threads with heavyweight and lightweight in the names, and removed the weight tags where appropriate. If I can suggest a slight amendment to FDNB's comment on the previous page... "there's no substitute for a *capable* human". I could have used a regular expression to avoid matches where 'weight' wasn't a complete word.
It wouldn't have picked up the difference between 'weight training' and 'weight loss' though, so the original point still stands
